DESCRIPTION:The Palm Beach Atlantic University Alumni Association will hold its second annual MacArthur School of Leadership Alumni Rummage Sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday\, June 5\, in the Greene Complex for Sports and Recreation\, 1100 S. Dixie Highway\, West Palm Beach. The rummage sale is open to the public. Proceeds will benefit the MacArthur School’s programs.\n\nItems for sale will include televisions\, lamps\, furniture and kitchen items. Men’s\, women’s and children’s clothing and shoes also will be available for sale.\n\nThe event began last year as a University-wide effort aimed at reducing the amount of usable goods that typically end up in the trash when students leave for the summer. \n\nAlumni\, many from the MacArthur School of Leadership\, and other volunteers have spent the past few weeks sorting\, pricing and tagging the items\, which will include donations from faculty and staff.\n\nPalm Beach Atlantic University is a private\, independent university offering undergraduate\, graduate and professional degrees\, with campuses in West Palm Beach\, Orlando and Wellington.
