DESCRIPTION:The 2013 Business Awards\, presented by PNC Bank\, honors the Community Leader of the Year\, which is selected by the Chamber's Board of Directors. This year's honoree is Dr. Warren\, co-founder of Palm Beach Atlantic University.  Special thanks to Southwest Airlines who donated the door prize\, a pair of airline tickets.\n\n\n\n2013 Finalists:\n\nThe Small Business Person of the Year finalists are: Angela M. Barnard\, Audio Video Systems\, Inc.\; Robert Kirschner\, Passport Publications & Media Corporation\; and Steve Politziner\, ESPN West Palm. This award is sponsored by PNC Bank.\n\n \n\nThe Business of the Year finalists are: Gunster\; Illustrated Properties Real Estate Inc.\; Palm Beach Kennel Club\; and Southern Waste Systems/Sun Recycling. This award is sponsored by The Palm Beach Post.\n\n \n\nThe Non-Profit of the Year/Arts & Culture finalists are: The Norton Museum of Art\; South Florida Fair & Palm Beach County Expositions\, Inc.\; and the South Florida Science Museum.\n\n \n\nThe Non-Profit of the Year/Health & Human Services finalists are: Education Foundation of Palm Beach County\, Inc.\; Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida\; Jack the Bike Man\, Inc.\; The Lord's Place Inc.\; and Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League of the Palm Beaches.\n\n \n\nThe Health/Science Professional of the Year finalists are:  Kevin Bandy\, Hanley Center\; Jeff Kotzen\, M.D.\, Good Samaritan Medical Center\; and Ali Malek\, M.D.\, F.S.N.I.S\, St. Mary's Medical Center.  \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nReservations may be canceled up to 3 days (72 hours) before the event. Reservations that are canceled prior to 3 days (72 hours) of an event will not be charged and any amounts paid will be refunded.
