DESCRIPTION:Easter Seals is proud to announce the 8th Annual Get Down to Business Lunch scheduled for Wednesday\, January 21\, 2015 at the The Cohen Pavilion - Kravis Center. We are thrilled that this event continues to draw a sellout audience of business executives and young professionals working together to lead Palm Beach County in best practices of social and philanthropic responsibility within our community.\n\nAnnouncment of Featured Speaker:\n\nDr. Rick Bommelje\n\nBestselling Author of Listening Pays and "Listening Doctor" specializing in the development of listening and leadership behaviors. \n\n\n\nAs an expert in leadership\, Dr. Bommelje has identified the one critical skill essential to effective leadership that business professionals often miss. Join us to learn about LISTENING and its direct connection to LEADERSHIP.\n\nProceeds from the luncheon will benefit preschool-aged children with special needs at Easter Seals Igoe-Amar Child Development Center.  This is the area's only full-time Child Development Center for children of ALL abilities. Easter Seals helps children with disabling conditions due to birth\, disease\, accident or injury through a developmental day program\, a VPK Program and therapies made available in a preschool setting.  These services help prepare children for success in school and life while affording parents an opportunity to continue their careers or education.
