DESCRIPTION:In 2012\, a record number of Fair Labor Standards Act ("FLSA" or "the Act") lawsuits were filed in Federal Court.  As we move into 2013\, the courts remain awash in these lawsuits   the majority of which are grounded in employers' misunderstanding or misapplying the fundamental elements of the Act. Misinformation and bad advice abound.
