On Saturday\, April 27\, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.\, enjoy a frolicking day of fun at Healthy Kids Day\, the Y's national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and their families.\n\n\n\nNearly one in five children in Florida is obese\, according to a recent study by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Parents can help prevent childhood obesity by encouraging their youngsters to lace up\, stay fit\, and maintain a holistic lifestyle.\n\n\n\nHealthy Kids Day is free and promotes family-friendly fun\, including face painting\, health and wellness discussions\, American-Latin cuisine\, and entertainment. Kid-approved activities will feature a 40-yard dash\, a punt\, pass\, and kick competition\, three-point basketball contest\, Zumba\, and an action-packed obstacle course for a chance to win great prizes.\n\n\n\nWant to be a Y insider?
