DESCRIPTION:Join us in the Museum Quarterdeck room as Staff shares the latest discoveries in local historical research and new findings from our ever expanding Museum's collection. The Lighthouse Service merged with the Coast Guard in 1939\, but the Coast Guard has had a much larger role in our area than many people recognize. Historian Josh Liller will cover not only the military operation of the lighthouse\, but also the local Loran Stations. This presentation will feature the latest research and photos from the Coast Guard Historian's office and several servicemen assigned here. Q&A will follow.
