Chief Araujo is a nearly 43-year veteran with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Professional Administration from Barry University and is a graduate of the Senior Executives in State and Local Government at the Harvard Kennedy School. Chief Araujo is married with three adult children and four grandchildren.\n\n\n\n  Colonel John Prieschl\, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office\n\nColonel John Prieschl is a career law enforcement professional with approximately 36 years of local law enforcement experience.  He is responsible for overseeing the Department of Professional Standards\, which is comprised of the following Divisions: Legal Affairs\, Internal Affairs\, Training\, Staff Inspections (policy/accreditation)\, Human Resources\, Risk Management and Labor Relations.\n\n\n\nColonel Prieschl was born and raised in West Palm Beach\, Florida.  He began his law enforcement career in 1988 with the Jupiter Police Department.  He was hired by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office in January of 1993.  His training and experience is diversified to include assignments in Vehicle Homicide Investigations\, Training Division\, Field Training Program\, Internal Affairs\, Court Services\, and Patrol Operations.  He started promoting through the ranks in early 2000 and eventually commanded a Patrol District\, the Training Division\, and Internal Affairs before being promoted to the rank of Major in 2017.  In 2021\, he was promoted to Colonel to oversee the Department of Professional Standards.\n\n\n\n  David Gobeo\, Labor and Employment Attorney/Partner at FordHarrison LLP\n\nDavid Gobeo\, Esq.\, is a Partner of FordHarrison LLP who focuses his practice primarily on litigation.  Mr. Gobeo received his J.D. from the University of Florida and undergraduate degree from Stetson University\, with honors.  Mr. Gobeo is a member of the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches\, Inc.\, the Palm Beach County Bar Association\, and has been an active member of the Associated Builders and Contractors for his entire career.  He is also a Board Member for the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches\, and a Board Member of Nonprofits First.
