DESCRIPTION:JOIN FEEDING SOUTH FLORIDA FOR A 5K\n\nAS WE OUTRUN HUNGER IN PALM BEACH COUNTY!\n\nOUTRUN HUNGER\n\nAs the sole Feeding America food bank serving South Florida\, Feeding South Florida is the largest and most efficient food bank in Palm Beach County. Feeding South Florida provides almost 11 million pounds of food each year to Palm Beach County alone\, through direct service programs and a network of more than 100 nonprofit partner agencies. For every $1 donated to us\, we can provide 6 meals or $12 worth of grocery products   that's because it costs us about .13 cents to move a pound of food. Feeding South Florida serves 202\,110 individuals struggling to put food on the table in Palm Beach County  63\,660 of whom are children.\n\n \n\nSPREAD THE WORD\n\nSupport Feeding South Florida through the Outrun Hunger 5K by adding a fundraising component. With your own custom webpage\, you can let friends\, family and colleagues know why you are participating and collect donations to benefit Feeding South Florida's mission to end hunger. With a 98% efficiency rating\, your dollar stretches further\; for every $10 donated to Feeding South Florida\, we can provide 62 meals.\n\n \n\nWith your support of Feeding South Florida's Outrun Hunger 5K\, you will not only provide funds to help end hunger in Palm Beach County\, but you will also raise awareness for the ever-important issue of food insecurity\; this is an easy and fun way to help our neighbors in need of  food assistance.
