DESCRIPTION:Join Palm Beach Day Academy on Friday\, October 4 at 8:45am on our Upper Campus' Smith Family Theater as we welcome Dr. Carrie Leff for a discussion on "Turning Teen" and surviving puberty for parents.\n\n\n\nDr. Carrie Leff is the founder of Turning Teen\, an organization that provides educational programs surrounding puberty. Turning Teen was created by two pediatricians to start the conversation with parents and children about their bodies. This PBDA On Topic will discuss the physical and emotional changes of male and female puberty\, as well as understanding the teen brain and the effect of technology on it. The morning will also include an open Q&A on adolescence.\n\n\n\nIn an effort to keep the PBDA parent community informed of current trends in learning\, psychology\, technology and more\, the PBDA On Topic parenting series invites both current and prospective families\, as well as members of the Palm Beach County community\, for a morning of discussion and continued education.
