DESCRIPTION:Join us for an informative presentation on Navigating the Property Appraiser Website with a team of experts from the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser's Office:\n\n\n\nCecil Jackson\, RES\, AAS\, CFE\, Chief Appraiser\n\nCecil Jackson began his career in tax assessment in 1993 with the Watauga County Tax Office in Boone\, NC. After four years\, he moved to Charlotte and joined Mecklenburg County's Assessor's Office as an Appraiser\, where he rose in responsibility from Appraiser to Senior Appraiser to Residential/Commercial Appraisal Manager for almost 23 years. He has been a member of IAAO for more than 30 years. He was appointed as the Tax Director in Gaston County\, North Carolina from 2020-2022 and is currently the Chief Appraiser in Palm Beach County.\n\n\n\nNery Mejia-Cerna\, CFE\, Manager of Downtown Exemption Services\n\nNery Mejia-Cerna is a dedicated professional with over 19 years of experience at the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser's Office. She currently serves as the Manager of the Downtown Services Department\, where she oversees operations and ensures exceptional service to the community.\n\n\n\nTimothy Bean\, Director\, Exemption Services\n\nTim Bean is with the Palm Beach County Property Appraisers office where he is the Director of Exemption Services.  He received his Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University.   He has been with the Property Appraisers office for 24 years and oversees the Exemption Service Department\, which include five offices located throughout the County.  He and his team members are responsible for multiple functions\, but their primary function is maintaining and administering all Exemptions available to Palm Beach County residents.
