Description
The PBA Dance Ensemble, directed by Demetrius Klein, will perform a variety of classical and modern works, namely Limon's "There is a Time," which is based on Ecclesiastes, a book found in the Old Testament of the Bible after Proverbs. The ensemble was awarded a $10,000 grant from Dance/USA and the National Endowment for the Arts to reconstruct Limón's masterpiece. With monies from the grant, the dance department hired a choreographer from the Limón Dance Foundation, to teach students in the Dance Ensemble the choreography of "There is a Time."
