“Belles & Bells” featuring the PBA Women’s Chorale and Handb

The "Belles" of the Women’s Chorale will perform a variety of folk songs from Japan, Canada and England. The set will include solo selections from Vincent Persichetti’s "A Net of Fireflies," a song cycle consisting of various settings of haiku poetry. They also will sing a Mohawk dance song, "Innoria" by Marius Barbea, which originated in a Huron village near Quebec City in 1911.
