The private luncheon features State Representatives Meg Weinberger and Anne Gerwig, followed by a short panel discussion on cutting edge health science and biohacking.
Anne Gerwig
Anne Gerwig won the race for House District 93 in November, 2024, against incumbent Katherine Waldron. She has just finished her first legislative session in Tallahassee for 2024/25
Anne Gerwig has lived in Palm Beach County for 57 years, and in Wellington for 35 years. Her service to the community is unmatched through 14 years in local government, six years as a councilwoman and eight years as mayor. Aside from her 14 years of service on the Wellington Village Council, she served on the board of several local, regional and state organizations, including as past president of the Palm Beach County League of Cities and on the executive board of the Florida League of Cities.
Gerwig has been married to her husband Alan for 35 years. They have three adult children and three perfect grandchildren.
She advocated for many issues during her service in Wellington, including clean water, transportation, traffic, affordable housing, small businesses, homelessness and more.
“I have made tough decisions, and they have proven to be good ones over the years,” she said. “The Keely Spinelli grant is an example that I am most proud of. We worked together with our local schools to provide funding for services for the lowest-performing students and allowed for innovation in the process. I have raised all three of my children here, built a small business, and faced the same challenges as our residents over the years. I am best equipped to serve this region and willing to do the hands-on work that is required.
Gerwig describes herself as “results driven” and wants to focus on quality-of-life issues.
Meg Weinberger
The Honorable Representative Meg Weinberger proudly serves Florida’s 94th District in the Florida House of Representatives, where she brings a bold voice for faith, family, freedom, and Florida values.
A lifelong advocate for the vulnerable, Representative Weinberger blends her passion for service with real-world leadership. She is the founder of Rescue Life Sanctuary, a nonprofit that has saved thousands of animals and developed therapeutic programs for foster children and individuals with special needs—partnering with organizations like Place of Hope, Kid Sanctuary, and Els for Autism.
As a Republican legislator, she fights for limited government, personal responsibility, and policies that strengthen Florida’s economy, support law enforcement, and preserve the dignity of life. Her legislative priorities span across public safety, agriculture, child and animal welfare, environmental stewardship, and victims’ rights. She leads efforts to hold animal abusers accountable, defends victim privacy, and passed meaningful child welfare reform. As a proud American patriot, Representative Weinberger stood up for restoring American pride by passing legislation redesignating the Gulf of America, and renaming parts of Palm Beach’s Southern Boulevard after fallen deputies to “PBSO Motorman Highway” and our current President to “Donald J. Trump Boulevard.” Guided by her morals and beliefs, she vows to only support and pass legislation that she can fully stand behind.
In the Florida House, Representative Weinberger serves on several critical committees, including the State Affairs Committee, the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee, and the Select Committee on Property Taxes. She also holds seats on subcommittees overseeing agriculture, education, government operations, civil justice, and budgeting—demonstrating her wide-ranging dedication to crucial aspects of policy leadership.
Outside the Capitol, she and her husband, Eric, have been foster parents and mentored children while raising their two adult daughters, Zoie and Riley. She serves as a Trustee on the Board of Stetson University and sits on the Advisory Board for Furry Friends, among other nonprofit and advisory roles—including Restoration Bridge International—extending her impact into education, food security, animal welfare, and community outreach.
Whether standing up for local businesses, farmers, first responders, or vulnerable children, Representative Weinberger remains committed to hearing the voices of the people she serves—leading with heart, grit, and an unwavering belief in the American spirit.
