Christopher Seville appointed to Palm Beach Venture Philanthropy Board; Andrew Filauro joins as Finance and Investment Committee member
(WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.) – Quantum Foundation announced two strategic leadership appointments that will further enhance its impact in improving health and well-being across Palm Beach County. Andrew Filauro has been appointed as a member of the foundation’s Finance and Investment Committee, and Christopher Seville joins the board of Palm Beach Venture Philanthropy (PBVP), a division of Quantum Foundation.
Quantum Foundation’s mission is to inspire and fund initiatives that improve the health of Palm Beach County residents. The health foundation was formed from $125 million in proceeds from the sale of JFK Medical Center. Now in its third decade of community investment, the foundation has assets of approximately $172 million. Since its inception, Quantum Foundation has awarded $184 million to hundreds of Palm Beach County nonprofit grantees. Launched in 2024, Palm Beach Venture Philanthropy (PBVP), a division of Quantum Foundation, aims to create catalytic change in Palm Beach County neighborhoods by developing solutions and sourcing capital to address persistent socio-economic challenges. Every dollar the foundation grants stays in the county to benefit local communities.
Seville is the founder of Thatch Construction Group and a certified general contractor with more than 14 years of experience in engineering and construction. A Florida State University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, he brings strong technical expertise and hands-on development experience to support PBVP’s real estate and neighborhood initiatives. A local native with deep roots in the region, including a personal connection to Coleman Park, Seville is committed to ensuring revitalization efforts benefit legacy residents. His blend of professional skill and lived experience helps ensure projects are delivered to a high standard while remaining grounded in lasting local impact and inclusive investment. He is a resident of West Palm Beach.
Filauro is a managing director at Oxford Financial Group Ltd., a partner-owned wealth management firm serving entrepreneurs and families nationwide. He leads Oxford’s Palm Beach office, advising clients on portfolio construction, risk management, and long-term wealth planning. Before Oxford, he held roles at Goldman Sachs and Barclays, where he advised business owners and supported capital-raising in the industrial and financial services sectors. He lives in West Palm Beach with his wife and two children. In his role on Quantum Foundation’s Finance and Investment Committee, he will work closely with the board to help guide the foundation’s financial strategy, investment oversight and long-term sustainability.
“Andrew and Christopher each bring a unique perspective and depth of experience that will be invaluable to our work,” said Eric Kelly, president of Quantum Foundation. “Their leadership and strong ties to the region will help further our mission to create lasting, positive change in Palm Beach County.”
